Kim Jong-Un moves closer to power, but so do his aunt, his uncle and a key general
SEOUL — Kim Jong-Un, the youngest son of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il, has made a great stride towards succeeding his father's power by taking key posts in the dominant military and in the country's ruling communist party.
But South Korean officials and analysts remain doubtful about Jong-Un's status as an indisputable successor as he is still being checked by potential rivals at a time when his father's health is declining and public loyalty is waning.
