In a further sign of weakening resolve in Taiwan, the son of Chinese President Hu Jintao made a secret visit to the Island in July, Taiwan's Next magazine reported. The son, Hu Haifeng, was accompanied by several unidentified high-ranking Chinese officials, and arrived on the island on July 18 and met with agricultural experts.
