N. Korea to convene extra parliament session in June to handle urgent agenda

SEOUL — North Korea watchers here are speculating on reasons for a rare extra session of its parliament to be held next month. Officials and analysts said the Supreme People's Assembly meeting slated for June 7 will most likely handle "urgent" and unexpected agenda items. The session comes less than two months after the previous meeting.
