Officials said Moscow plans to conclude the shipment of 82 tons of
nuclear fuel for Iran's Bushehr nuclear energy reactor by early February.
Around 80 percent of the nuclear fuel has already been delivered.
On Thursday, Russia delivered its sixth consignment of fuel for Bushehr.
Officials said about 12 tons of nuclear fuel arrived at the Gulf port of

"The sixth load of nuclear fuel arrived at the Bushehr plant on Thursday
morning," the Iranian Organization for Production and Development of Nuclear
Energy said.
This marked the four nuclear fuel shipment by Russia in less than a
week. Iran also reported Russian fuel deliveries on Jan. 18, 20 and 22.
Iran has sought to launch initial operations of the 1,000 megawatt
Bushehr by July 2008. Russia, the prime contractor of Bushehr, has not
confirmed the Iranian timetable.
