To the Editor:
I've decided I won't watch any more coverage of the election and will simply get up
tomorrow and find out who won. If I see that Michael Moore is doing a cannonball into his pool, Iraqi insurgents are dancing in the streets and firing machine guns in
jubilation, George Soros is raising a glass of champagne to toast yet another acquisition that only the hyper-rich can afford, P-Diddy is pulling out his thesaurus at a press conference and American soldiers in Iraq are crying, then I will
know John Kerry has won. Absent these scenarios I will go
back to sleep knowing that my children can at least be safe for the next
four years.
