TOKYO -- North Korea and South Korea are planning a second summit, this time in Seoul. Officials said North
Korean ruler Kim Jong-Il will arrive in South Korea by the end of the month.
"The high-level talks will open this month," South Korean Unification
Minister Park Jae-Kyu said.
Last month, South Korean President Kim Dae-Jung arrived in Pyongyang for
the first summit between the two neighbors in 50 years. The meeting was
called a success and was said to have significantly lowered tension between
Seoul and the communist north.
