During the Oct. 10 broadcast of “The View” on ABC, Joy Behar said the women who have accused ex-President Bill Clinton of sexual misdeeds are “tramps.”
Behar commented that Hillary Clinton, in the Oct. 9 debate, “wouldn’t bring all the dirt up” when provoked by Donald Trump.
“[Clinton] was being nice about the fact that her daughter was in the audience,” Behar continued, before stating she would have liked to see the former secretary of state “apologize to those tramps who have slept with [her] husband.”
Behar publicly apologized for the comment on Oct. 11. Meanwhile the pressure on Donald Trump to surrender his candidacy, despite his own public apology continue unabated.
It was not the first time Behar had made rape jokes on air, according to a report by The Daily Caller. “In January, she stated she would vote for a rapist, as long as they were a liberal,” the report said.
Juanita Broaddrick — who accused Bill Clinton of raping her in Arkansas when she was 35-years-old — tweeted, “shame on you, Joy” in response to Behar’s claim that Broaddrick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey are “tramps.”
Broaddrick, Jones and Willey were all present at the Oct. 9 presidential debate in St. Louis.
