Who in their office pool had 16 days until Democrats vowed to impeach President Donald Trump?
And if you had Rep. Al Green of Texas as the Democrat who would first file impeachment articles in Trump 2.0, you win the daily double.

Green on Wednesday said he plans to bring articles of impeachment after the real estate developer who won the White House suggested the U.S. could take over the Gaza Strip and transform it into the “Riviera of the Middle East.”
“The movement to impeach the president has begun,” Green said on the House floor. “I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.”
That’s a double dose of “dastardly.”
During a press conference on Tuesday with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said of Gaza: “We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings.”
Trump said his plan would “supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area,” adding it was time to “do something different” because “if you go back, it’s gonna end up the same way it has for a hundred years.”
Asked who he envisioned living in the redeveloped territory, Trump said “the world’s people” — including Palestinians and presumably Israelis.
Though he seemed surprised by Trump’s idea, Netanyahu said: “I think it could change history and it is worthwhile pursuing. You say things others refuse to say and after the jaws drop people say, ‘maybe he is right.’ ”
Meanwhile, Trump said in a post to social media that reports that he plans to unleash American military power on Iran are “greatly exaggerated”:
I want Iran to be a great and successful Country, but one that cannot have a Nuclear Weapon. Reports that the United States, working in conjunction with Israel, is going to blow Iran into smithereens, ARE GREATLY EXAGGERATED. I would much prefer a Verified Nuclear Peace Agreement, which will let Iran peacefully grow and prosper. We should start working on it immediately, and have a big Middle East Celebration when it is signed and completed. God Bless the Middle East!
After Trump’s victory in November, Iran’s currency sunk to an all-time low as fears quickly spread that Trump would exact revenge for years of Iran threatening to assassinate him.
“The Islamic Republic has to be terrified that the presidential candidate that they tried to kill has just won the election,” Behnam Ben Taleblu, an Iran expert at the hawkish Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) think tank, told Fox News Digital the day after Trump’s election victory.
“The regime knows it can ill afford more exogenous economic shocks. Even the return of maximum pressure alone to the Islamic Republic is going to cause major, major economic problems.”
Ahead of his meeting with Netanyahu on Tuesday, Trump signed a presidential memorandum reimposing Washington’s tough policy on Iran that was practiced throughout his first term.
Trump reiterated that the “hated” to take the action.
Trump said he would be willing to meet with Iran’s leadership to try to persuade them to give up what the United States believes are Teheran’s efforts to develop a nuclear weapon.
