In epic 3-hour Rogan podcast, Trump gets into the details, without notes

The viewership of Donald Trump’s almost 3 hours of conversation with podcaster Joe Rogan skyrocketed to over 20 million views on YouTube in just 20 hours.

The Trump-Rogan interview had more viewers than Game 1 of the World Series.

That was roughly five million more viewers than watched Game 1 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.

And while Game 1 ended with an historic walk-off grand slam, the Trump-Rogan interview had some big hits of its own.

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec noted:

“Name another president who would sit down for 3 hours and give a wide-ranging, detailed discussion like Trump just did on Joe Rogan. There isn’t one. First time he’s had a president on, too. Trump just did 3 straight hours, no notes, on topic after topic, even deep into 19th-century American history.

“He’s showing real authenticity and skill. Kamala snubbed Rogan bc she has neither.”

The interview began with a discussion on Trump’s coverage in the media. “I only get bad press,” the former president said, before Rogan referred to a clip from The View praising Trump in 2015.

JOE ROGAN: “Watch this…This is literally bonkers.”
BARBARA WALTERS: “Please welcome my friend, Donald Trump.”
JOE ROGAN: “Watch this. Just watch this. This is nuts. We’re in an alternative universe, okay? Because this is not that long ago.”

When pressed by Rogan for some examples of how the 2020 election was stolen, the former president said, “They were supposed to get legislative approval to do the things they did and they didn’t get it. In many cases, they didn’t get it.”

Many states modified their absentee/mail-in voting procedures for the 2020 election using the Covid pandemic as an excuse.

Rogan then asked “what things” didn’t get legislative approval.

“Anything. Like for extensions of the voting, for voting earlier. All different things. By law, they had to get legislative approvals. You don’t have to go any further than that,” Trump said. “If you take a look at Wisconsin. They virtually admitted that the election is rigged, robbed and stolen. They wouldn’t give access in certain areas to the ballots because the ballots weren’t signed. They weren’t originals.”

Trump’s communications director, Steven Cheung, told Newsweek via email late Saturday morning, “[Former] President Trump was extremely clear about what happened and offered clear evidence. The media can’t seem to understand or get it through their thick skulls.”

By the way, Kamala Harris also jumped into the podcast world. She was on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast a few weeks back. The episode made a lot of headlines. It garnered 687,000 views on YouTube in the three weeks since it went live.
