For troubled U.S. Secret Service, ‘help is on the way’: Trump’s triumphant return to MSG

President-elect Donald Trump made his triumphant return to Madison Square Garden Saturday night, this time to watch some UFC action with UFC President Dana White, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and several of his top administration picks including Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Also on hand on Saturday night were two men seen as top candidates to head up the troubled U.S. Secret Service, current Trump Secret Service detail leader Sean Curran, and former Secret Service official and conservative commentator Dan Bongino.

Journalist Susan Crabtree said “sources in the Secret Service community tell me Bongino told some USSS agents protecting Trump last night that “help is on the way.”

The last time Trump was at MSG was last month in the closing days of the 2024 presidential campaign. The rally was an overwhelming success which was evident, some analysts noted, because Democrats compared it to a Nazi rally at the Garden in the 1930s.

“Note to Hillary Clinton and James Carville—this is not Hitler, and these aren’t Nazis. These are the American people, the ones you forgot or demonized. They’re ready for change, and now they’ve got it. Victory tastes so sweet,” Bob Hoge wrote for Red State.
