Edward Neilan was a founding editor and columnist for WorldTribune.com.
Mr. Neilan was a veteran journalist, based in Tokyo, who covered East Asia and wrote weekly for WorldTribune. He was also a senior fellow at the Asian Studies Center of the Heritage Foundation and a media fellow at the Hoover Institution.
Ed was filled with enthusiasm about the growth of this unique news site and promoted it with colleagues at the Tokyo Foreign Correspondents Club. He died unexpectedly in November, 2000, and remains an honorary member of the Board of Editors and Advisors.
