Were spies endangered by Russia, China access to Snowden files?

The Sunday Times report that Britain was pulling its spies out of hostile nations because their identities may have been compromised by Russian and Chinese access to the Snowden files raised an immediate question:

What actions have the CIA taken to protect its spies? Its case officers work in many of the same hostile nations as those of the UK.

Neither the CIA nor White House have commented on the London Times report or what actions the CIA has taken.

At the same time, Russia Today, a de facto Kremlin mouthpiece, quotes journalist Glenn Greenwald to disparage the Times report as an attempt to smear former National Security Agency (NSA) employee Edward Snowden.
