A pair of explosions minutes apart ripped through a stronghold of Iranian terror proxy Hizbullah in Beirut on Nov. 12, killing at least 35 people.
Sources told Lebanon’s Daily Star and Al Jazeera that two suicide bombers launched the attacks in the Shi’ite-majority area of Ain el Sikkeh in southern Beirut.
The explosions were set off near the Palestinian refugee camp at Burj el-Barajne, which is a Hizbullah stronghold.
Hizbullah fighters are currently supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad and are battling both Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL) terrorists and anti-Assad rebels.
There have been a spate of car bomb attacks against Shi’ite districts of Beirut in recent years, several of which targeted the Burj el-Barajne camp.
