Edward Neilan was a founding editor and columnist for World Tribune.com. He was filled with enthusiasm about the growth of this unique news site and was writing regularly when he died unexpectedly in November, 2000. Mr. Neilan remains an honorary member of the Board of Editors and Advisors.
Ed was a veteran journalist, based in Tokyo, who covered East Asia and wrote weekly for World Tribune.com. He was also a senior fellow at the Asian Studies Center of the Heritage Foundation and a media fellow at the Hoover Institution.
