Claudio Campuzano is a veteran correspondent covering Latin America and an honorary member of the Board of Editors. He wrote weekly for World Tribune.com and Geostrategy-Direct.com until illness forced his retirement in early 2003. He died on Sept. 22, 2008.
Mr. Campuzano is the former editorial page editor of the New York daily Noticias del Mundo and U.S. correspondent for the Latin American newsweekly Tiempos del Mundo.
A former columnist for 30 Latin America newspapers and former Latin American desk editor for UPI, Mr. Campuzano has also written for Time Magazine and the New York City Tribune.
