Forced to choose between Iran and Assad, Hamas faces fiscal crisis

LONDON — Western diplomatic sources said the Teheran regime cut its budget to Hamas in 2011 during the revolt in Syria. The sources said Iran has been angered by Hamas's refusal to participate in the campaign by the regime of President Bashar Assad to quell the revolt by pro-democracy forces.
