Iran said to have slashed Hizbullah's budget by more than 40 percent
TEL AVIV — Israel has determined that Iran sharply reduced its budget for Hizbullah.
The Israeli intelligence community has assessed that the Iranian government slashed its assistance to Hizbullah by more than 40 percent in 2010. The intelligence community said the reduction was aimed at Hizbullah's so-called political wing, led by secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah.
