ABU DHABI — The Gulf Cooperation Council expects the admission of Jordan to increase the combat capabilities of Gulf Arab militaries. The GCC has invited both Jordan and Morocco as members. Officials said the invitation would enhance the GCC's military and economic reach, particularly amid rising tension with neighboring Iran.
