Turkey raids 50 sites in Instanbul, captures regional Al Qaida chief

ANKARA — Turkey has captured the alleged regional chief of Al Qaida. Turkish sources said authorities have raided a series of Al Qaida strongholds in Istanbul. They said 40 people were arrested on April 12, including the chief of Al Qaida's network in Turkey's largest city.
