Russian: Libya's SAMs could be sold to Al Qaida, other terrorists
MOSCOW — A leading Russian government consultant said that Al Qaida and other Islamic insurgents were probably targeting the anti-aircraft missiles captured by the Libyan rebel movement.
The analyst said the Russian-origin missiles could be transferred or sold to cells throughout North Africa.
