China's military satellite advances providing 'near-real-time' capability to ID, target ships
China is building up its military satellite capabilities to supported increased intelligence-gathering and also to use in targeting its new anti-ship ballistic and cruise missiles, according to a new report.
The report by the Project 2049 Institute, "China's Electronic Intelligence and Satellite Developments," warns that Beijing is bolstering its electronic forces to gain an edge in a future conflict.
