China claims it 'has long mastered the technology' to detect U.S. stealth aircraft
A Chinese military specialist claims that Beijing has developed a radar system capable of detecting radar-evading stealth aircraft. The PRC-owned Ta Kung Pao newspaper reported last year that the radar will be capable of detecting the F-22, the long-range strike aircraft developed in part for a future conflict with China because of its ability to fly through radar sensors and strike targets deep inside China.
