The commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific said last week that China’s military has shown a growing aggressiveness in the South China Sea over Beijing’s territorial claims.
Adm. Robert Willard said in Beijing on May 25 that “there has been an assertiveness that has been growing over time, particularly in the South China Sea and in the East China Sea.”
