Bahrain said to use excessive force against Shi'ite protesters
LONDON — Bahrain has been accused of using excessive police force against the majority Shi'ite community. The London-based Amnesty International asserted that Bahrain was using live fire in the near-nightly Shi'ite riots around Manama.
