NICOSIA — Iran has launched its second Gulf military exercise in as many months.
The Iranian Navy said it would oversee a naval and air exercise in the Gulf and Sea of Oman. The Navy said the eight-day exercise began on May 5 in an effort to enhance Iranian deterrence.
