Mullen 'increasingly concerned': If 'peaceful rise', why won't China engage?
Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates told a Senate hearing he is "very concerned" about China's development of key strategic capabilities and cruise missiles.
“The growing capability of the Chinese with anti-ship cruise and ballistic missiles is a real concern for our Navy and for us. The cybercapability is very important. The anti-satellite capability and potential space denial capabilities are of concern to us.”
