BAGHDAD Ñ Iraq plans to increase crude oil exports to their highest
level since 2003 beginning this summer.
Officials said the Iraqi Oil Ministry has determined the feasibility of
an increase in oil exports in 2009.
The officials said oil exports would reached 2.1

budget.

"Now we are exporting 2.1 million bpd average and sometimes 2.15 million
barrels per day," Iraqi Finance Minister Bayan Jabor said on July 14.
Officials said Iraqi oil exports would increase to 2.4 million barrels
over the next few months. They said Iraq has succeeded in raising oil
production levels amid improved security at the nation's oil wells and
related facilities.
